Add Lightning Component to Page
Our "Teams Presence" component can be added to any Lightning Record page. The instructions below show you how to recreate what we've made in the video, and additional details can be found in the Presence Display help doc.
- From the Record Page you want to add the component, use the Cog/Setup icon at the top right to Edit Page
- In the Components toolbox, navigate to the Custom Components and locate Teams Presence
- Drag the Teams Presence component onto the page.
With the component on the screen, you can begin its configuration.
- Adjust the Title as desired
- Specify the fields API path to a Teams User's email address or full name
- Pick an object's relationship for displaying the status of multiple users, and provide the path for their email / full name.
- Choose where the DM buttons should appear
- Enable Compact mode for a tighter UX.
Once the component looks good, save the page and activate it if necessary.
